In front of the mirror, Tita contemplates herself with intensity and confidence. She rearranges her blow-dry, adorns her lips with a bright red, then lets a few drops of musk and patchouli slide onto her skin. Before going out, she crosses the kitchen, still imbued with the scent of honey and orange blossom. She puts on her hat and leather gloves, with that elegance that is uniquely hers.
